Burman Rack from S4 Lotus Seven



pinion - cupped race held ball bearings, 0.210" diameter, with the thick washer being agasint the pinion teeth, then the balls then the cupped race.  this was mirrored on both sides of the teeth






tie rod inner end, whatever plastic cup missing.  nut held agasint jam nut with a lead slug in the cross drill hole shown on the two pieces.






rack housing - embosed PDS 13 1 279 (the 13 being hard to read and questionable) and 4G70 under the strap retaining area.
Side on back of photo is plain hole where pinion shaft came out to attach to steering column
